ed Artist: Elissa Goldberg \nElissa Goldberg started drawing with pastel
s approximately 20 years ago. She is now a member of the Pastel Society
of America. Some of her pieces have been inspired by her many travels an
d wondrous explorations through her native Bucks County\, while others c
ome from her vivid imagination. Spending countless hours refining her te
chnique and compositions\, she hopes the viewer will share her appreciat
ion of the combination of light\, movement and color that makes each pie
ce so alive.\n\nElissa finds pastels exciting as it is an immediate tran
sfer onto paper. There is no mixing. There are no chemicals. The ideas i
n her head can be expressed simply and quickly. She has learned over the
years how to manipulate the colors in such a way to make them both bold
and subtle. Using the sides of the pastel sticks\, as well as the edges
\, creates a multitude of effects. Further\, the overlapping of colors a
llows unlimited potential Elissa’s passion for art has come from her f
amily roots. Her grandmother and her aunt\, both accomplished artists in
their own right\, were her first art teachers. Elissa’s artwork can b
e found in many galleries throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Her ar
twork can also be found on her Instagram account. - IG @fineartbyelissa\

m\n\n\nJune Featured Artist: Namita Wlotko\nIn my life I have had many p
astimes.  Painting has become my greatest one.  I paint in oils becau
se I like the texture and their blending ability.  I start out by dra
wing a rough picture\, and then blocking in the shapes with a base c
oat of thin oil paint.  And then I use several layers of different brus
h strokes to create the completed painting.  My goal is to bring beaut
y and happiness to those that view my art.\n\n\n\nMy blessings overflow.
A percentage of the proceeds go to help the women that have suffered
so much – the survivors of human trafficking.  - Tinasloft@gmail.com
