DESCRIPTION:Our monthly art show featuring two incredible local artists 
 is the first Sunday of every month. Meet the creators - plus live music 
 and wine!\nCan’t make it to the debut event? The gallery is open to th
 e public during regular winery hours\, and we welcome you to enjoy the s
 pace! Selected artists showcase for an entire month and the pieces are a
 vailable for sale.\nOur curator\, Lori Loewen\, works to find the best a
 nd brightest creators in our area\, pulling together solo\, complimentar

 work for consideration.\n\n\n\n\nSeptember Featured Artist: Drew Scarpa\
 nInspiration and Work\nAs an avid fisherman and boat captain\, Drew spen
 ds many days outdoors. Through that experience he's been developing a bo
 dy of work that is based on the landscape and seascape of Southern New J
 ersey where he lives\, as well as other areas along the East Coast.\nHis
  goal is to capture the essence of the moment. The warm glow of sunshine
 \, the cool of the evening. Through pastel\, smudging\, scraping\, etc.\
 , he creates the illusion of the sun sparkling on the waves\, the grasse
 s waving in a meadow. It's the natural tendency of the pastel on paper t
 hat he tries to unleash and not quite control.\nHe doesn't incorporate f
 ine detail.....just a suggestion of detail. He feels this makes the view

 ured Artist: Michael Doyle\n\n\n\nIn Michael Doyle’s paintings one wil
 l find intimate portrayals of interiors and landscapes.  Life’s richn
 ess is examined in each one of his paintings. The viewer can trace the t
 ouch of Doyle’s brush as it presses through wet paint with a light gra
 ze here and a heavy dash there. Michael Doyle uses tones and hues that a
 re present in nature and his palette is as expressive as each one of his
  brushstrokes.  Doyle’s love of painting leads him to explore the rel
 ationships of objects to their surrounding environment through the study
  of light and color contrasts. By doing so\, he recognizes the beauty in
  each landscape\, still life\, and interior he paints.\n\n\n\n@michaeldo
