Marion Lotka:  Marion graduated from Philadelphia University and also studied at Philadelphia College of Art, Moore College of Art and Fleisher Art Memorial. As a New Jersey resident, she studied with Rita Michalenko, Andrea Sauchelli and currently teaches painting for the Cape May County Library. She is on the board of directors with Ocean City Fine Arts League, volunteers and exhibits at the Art On Asbury Gallery. November Featured Artist: Joel Adas Joel Adas grew up in Highland Park, New Jersey.  After spending a year abroad in Florence studying painting and drawing in 1988, he enrolled in the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University with a focus on painting. He spent years traveling along the Atlantic and Pacific coasts for various projects aimed at restoring and maintaining our coastal resources.  During that time, Rick acquired and honed his skills in visually translating the coastal scenery onto canvas.   He developed a style that captures the vibrant colors, light, and feel of the coastal community.  The endless combinations of sun, clouds, sand, and waves meld to make a continuously changing visual model that evokes a sense of relaxation and comfort.  Many of Rick’s paintings also create a sense of … Read More

September Featured Artist: Drew Scarpa Inspiration and Work As an avid fisherman and boat captain, Drew spends many days outdoors. Through that experience he’s been developing a body of work that is based on the landscape and seascape of Southern New Jersey where he lives, as well as other areas along the East Coast.
